Expanding line for DS Life shirts! Mosaic and Screen Print

Things have been overwhelming since the release of my DS Life design this week.  We’ve gone global… well, I mean we have international orders… but still!

What was just a sparkly rhinestone design is now also a screen print design for the less-blingy types and the guys who want to get in on this. (Yep, guys want in…)

And by request also, we adapted the image for a rhinestone version for mosaic DS.  Options!

The original rhinestone design is still the most popular so far. Orders have been coming in for 3 days now.  People from 11 states have ordered so far! Wow!

Hopping hectic halloween

Braska reporting: Thursday was a very big day. Halloween AND Grandma C’s birthday.  There was a bunch of fun stuff that we can show you so I won’t talk too much…

This is my class, well, one of them.  I also go to Mr. H’s class but it’s a LOT more kids.

Mommy came to the party and brought my cheer outfit to be my costume. We kind of forgot to get new costumes this year.

Since it was raining a lot, we didn’t get to have our parade outside. So we went to the gym. It’s kind of a long walk, but I did a good job following the class. (Sometimes I like to not follow so well…) Then we sat in the gym for a little bit to see all the costumes.

Jack was Spiderman and Dashlyn was a cute black kitty. They’re both in my class. We’ve been friends for a long time. We’ve had halloween pictures with them for a few years.

Their mom, Miss Julie, did some super fun games and we made neat things.

She also got out silly string at the end.  And here’s a secret… I do NOT like to be gotten with silly string!!!!!!!  Can you tell?  I was screaming, “STOP! I don’t like it!”
braskaschool6

So Mrs. F let me help her get the kids that wanted more. And that was WAY more fun.
braskaschool8

This was my favorite one. J is my favorite guy from school, and he really liked the silly string. So we got him good and we all laughed a lot!

After school, we went down to Grandma C’s house to help her give out candy. Kinlee decided to put on my bumblebee costume from last year.  We went out right at the end to just a few houses. Grandma C and Daddy took us.

At the end of the night, we were all very tired, but we stopped for a pic with Mommy before we left.

Photo sneak

A girl just can’t get a fair photo with certain brother-in-laws around.  Nothing is sacred. Even an attempt at taking a picture of my first freehand rhinestone Bears shirt. I’m a bling girl, yes I am.  And this is way more sparkly than the picture shows.  But it might be because of the goofball dimming my aura or something.

*sigh* little brothers….

Family Bears Day

It’s that time again!!! FOOOOOOTBALLLLL!

Braska reporting: Uncle Ethon and Auntie Cheryl have “the ticket” this year, so we’re going to their house for Bears on Sunday after church.  This was our first week, and we got ALL dressed for it!

And Kinlee got excited!

Mommy and I practiced our cheer poses with her, but we didn’t jump this time.

We won! So yay Bears!  Bear down, Chicago Bears!

More attempts at porch pics

Mom reporting: I thought since the first day pics didn’t go so well, I’d try again.
8/15/13  Day 2—“No, Mom. I just want to get on the bus!”

8/22/13 Day 7 —There was some extra time before the bus came to get Braska. So they agreed to take a few shots.  Though this is what I got first….

After a few that didn’t work, we did get one a little more “classic.”

This seems to make Kinlee look taller than Braska, which she is, but not by quite this much.

Later that day, Braska came home with different pants on.
Love when that happens…
braskasmile
I though it was funny that both times she’s come home with these pants on in the past 10 days, (the pants from her “extra outfit” for school, pants with several bright colors in stripes), it just works out that the colors somehow coordinate the colors in her top.  Must be popular colors in her wardrobe.  This is great since they only change the pants, not the top (which I included in her extra outfit, of course).  I did end up changing her extra pants to jeans though when I returned her to school the next day. The thought of her walking around with these stripes on with a red shirt or something makes me cringe.  Yes, I’m that neurotic. I wouldn’t normally put these stripes with these flowers, but hey, a little wild color kind of appealed to me when I saw her got off the bus in this.  Couldn’t do it every day though.

And this is made me smile, Braska’s “being Belle” so they can “look like sisters.”

City cowgirl

Today was cowboy/cowgirl day at school.  I don’t really have anything like that.  So we decided a star on my shirt and my tan boots would have to do the job.  Kind of a city girl, I am.  Some kids had cowboy boots and hats and vests. I’ll have to do some shopping before next cowboy day! (Aunt Karol, I so needed your help today! )

Still cute, though, I say!

A busy bee day

I gotta go to bed, but here’s a quick peek at what we did today.

First I got dressed for school.  I put on different stuff than usual so I could put my bumblebee dress on at school easier than changing all my clothes.  Everyone at school liked my outfit AND my bumblebee dress, too!

(This is the look I give Mommy most of the time when she takes pictures.  She just wants me to look and smile. But I get her every time. It’s what the cool kids do.)

Then I got down on the floor before we left for school and looked at my book by the mirror.  It makes TWO books when you do it that way!

Then we went to school. Mommy came back to school early today, and we put on my bumblebee dress and hat for my teachers and friends to see.  But I only got to stay a few minutes because I had to go see Miss Sue.  Mommy calls it “feeding therapy” but I just think it’s like a snack that I have to work really hard for.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

After school, we went to a place with a playground so we could have a little party for Jack’s birthday.  It was fun with me and KiKi and Jack.  We climbed and ran around.  Jack could do a magic trick where he stuck his foot WAY up and then got up on top of us.  I don’t know how he did it!  He is SO strong!  See his foot way up there??
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

When we were done playing, we had some ice cream.  (I really like ice cream!  It’s one of my new favorite things!)  Then we took a couple of pictures before we went home.

Jack: Braska, you’re silly.  You never look when your Mommy says to say, “Cheese!”  You’re supposed to smile like this…
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Braska: I give up.  Someone just take the picture so we can go.  Hip Hip Hooray.
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

After we slept on the way home (and after KiKi got sick all over her car seat and her clothes), we felt better and played for the rest of the day.

Happy Birthday, Jackson! See ya tomorrow for your Day After Party!

Back from Grammy's

I had a good time at Grammy's. I played with Auntie Joy alot, and I practiced my eating with Grammy. I've been eating some little bits every day that Grammy was at our house and when I was at her house. That's right... eating! I'm still only taking a little bit, but it's pretty yummy and Grammy and Mommy say I'm doing a good job!

Here's some pictures from Grammy's house when she made me some carrots. They were good!

(Mommy note: She is really doing well, and we're cautiously optimistic. If you've followed Miss Stubborn for a while, you know that she tends to do things that are encouraging, when it comes to food, and then she just quits it all. So we usually are a bit skeptical that new things like this will last, but she's been consistent now for close to three weeks. AND she's doing it for me, which is a good sign. She generally eats well in these phases for my mom and occasionally a therapist, but never for me. At this point, she's eating two to three times a day, about 3 tablespoons of food each time, either applesauce, yogurt, or pudding. I'm glad, and I'm doing my best in this new period of busyness and sleeplessness to keep up with very regular feedings. So far so good... we'll see how it goes as we move forward. We're celebrating this progress, though. I'm thrilled that she's taken these steps!)

On Sunday, after church, Grammy and Papa took me to see Mommy and Daddy and Kinlee. I was very glad to see Daddy especially! We had some lunch and then we came home.

Well, we didn't go home right away. First, we went to meet Baby Xander, my new cousin. He's just one week younger than Kinlee. He's pretty cute!

Then we went home because we were having friends come over. Oh, I forgot to tell you about my cute hair. Grammy put little braids in my hair, and Mommy and Daddy thought they were really great when they saw me at the restaurant! They're kind of messy here, but we'll do them again soon and take better pictures.

Our friends Amber and Katelyn came over with their parents to meet Kinlee and they brought us dinner, too! The girls are so funny. They were dancing and we played alot!
